Herpes Simplex 2 is a viral infection that can be contracted in two different ways. The first way is genital, which is means having sex with an infected person; the second way is through the mouth by kissing, touching, and close contact. There is currently no cure for Herpes Simplex 2 as of yet, but strides are being made in that direction every day. Believe it or not, there are an estimated 50,000,000 people in the United States alone that have genital herpes and a great majority of those 50,000,000 are women. There is a herpes simplex 2 treatment out there, but still there is no cure.
The best way to avoid getting Herpes Simplex 2 or any other sexually transmitted disease is to practice safe sex, and never have sex with a partner that you don’t know. After all, a herpes simplex 1 & 2 treatment can only help you so much, and then you are on your own.
Herpes one or two doesn’t affect you all of the time, and no one will know that you have it unless you have an outbreak, then you are contagious and can easily spread the disease on to someone else. If you do have herpes, even if you are using a herpes simplex 2 treatment, you need to tell anyone that you plan to become sexually active with, or even date, that you have Herpes and warn them so that they can take precautions.
Once again there is a herpes simplex 2 treatment but there is no cure. Until there is a cure it is best to abstain from being sexually active. It is also a good idea to screen your sexual partners carefully and never, ever have unprotected sex.
Eventually there will be a cure for herpes, until then you can use the herpes simplex 2 treatment and be very careful when you have an outbreak. Act responsibly and always warn someone you are dating ahead of time and let them make the decision as to whether they want to continue the relationship. You never want to tell them after being sexually active; that is just wrong.
